every year since 2017 i have kept a blick sketchbook that i use for journaling, everything from quick 10 second doodles to elaborate, hours-long illustration. i got the first sketchbook as a christmas gift in 2016 and then bulk bought more for christmas 2017 every year, i fill out a blick sketchbook and this year is Year 10 lads 🎨💅 it is year 10 of me keeping a yearlong sketchbook!! journaling for a whole decade now 😮‍💨💅 good news i am writing a vampire book. or at least, i was at the end of last summer 🔥🔥EMILY IS OFFICIALLY A PUBLISHED AUTHOR 🔥🔥 i don’t talk about my day job much on here but one cool thing about where i work is that despite tech (specifically, the engineering side) being male-dominated, the ui engineer team i work with is 3 women. one time our whole team met up and they gave a presentation and i sat there and drew them this is sylena and she is five feet and six inches of well-dressed evil 🥰🥰 2020 throwback 😈😈 tomorrow i am #DVpit pitching my YA fantasy dark academia that i am also illustrating 😭
